Simulated Multi-Function Display
Multi Function Display (MFD) is a pilot information and aircraft control system consisting of an LCD screen and buttons around it. MFDs, one of the most important innovations brought by the digital age to aviation, can not only reflect the information they receive from the avionic systems in aircraft on the screen, but also perform mission management functions when necessary. It is the first and only Simulated MFD. Developed for use in simulation environments, the MFD 268-S has analog and digital inputs/outputs and DVI-I, VGA, Ethernet and RS232 interfaces. Thanks to its ability to display externally produced images on the screen, artificially prepared symbologies and videos can be displayed on the MFD 268-S screen when desired.
